Mounting possibilities

Moving from top to bottom, NATO Stand 90 mm reveals a sequence of functional points:

• At the top, a 3/8-16 with ARRI anti-twist mount provides a secure base for heavy duty accessories.

• Just below, a 1/4-20 with ARRI anti-twist expands flexibility for lighter gear.

• Further down is a through cutout that serves as a quick cable catch or an anchor point for a carabiner. This opening is not only structural but fully functional in daily use.

• Directly below the cutout sits a dual purpose hole. This innovation combines a 1/4-20 countersunk mount and a QD socket on the opposite side. To our knowledge, this approach has never been used before in this industry or in any other field. It keeps the design visually clean while adding new functionality without extra material or weight. The QD standard accepts sling swivels that lock securely in a single click and release just as quickly.

• Along the body, any NATO clamp can be positioned freely, while the horizontal rib cutouts follow the R3 standard for low profile R3 clamps. The screw of the clamp passes through the body and locks into the cutout, so even if it loosens from vibration or insufficient torque, it remains fixed and reliable.

• Hidden beneath the footpad is one more 3/8-16 with ARRI anti-twist mount. Unscrewing the pad reveals this additional mounting point, giving even more freedom when a setup requires maximum flexibility.

• With its 90 mm length, NATO Stand transforms one mounting point into a full rigging field, multiplying attachment options and unlocking new creative setups. Just like the original version, it can also be mounted in 8 different positions around its axis on the plate, giving you the freedom to use the full potential of NATO Stand V2 at the exact angle you need.
